April - May 2009. . . Our Pastor/Planter Search team is currently reviewing and interviewing several possible candidate. Our goal is determine God's man for our ministry and to have them in place by mid summer so that we can go on to the next step in our journey to reach Coweta County.

18 April 2009. . . Many of us met at the Sharpsburg Spring Festival to meet and greet folks. We handed out balloons, popcorn, and information on our church.

7-9 JULY 2008... Vacation Bible School was a blast! The kids learned alot, and there were several visitors. Some of the youth from our mother church came to help lead singing, crafts, lessons, games, and other events.

21 JUNE 2008... Thanks to the fellowship team, the church took an outing to West Point Lake. Thanks to the Baptists and Waldrops for bringing their boats and Seadoos!

1 JUNE 2008... The first new members joined the church this Sunday! Praise God!

18 MAY 2008... The beginning of a new fellowship program: Dinner on the Grounds. Once a month it's time to celebrate with food and fellowship after church.

16 MARCH 2008... The Kick-Off Service was a blast! There were several visitors, and a good number from the mother church came for support.

20 JANUARY 2008... The mother church, LBC Fayette, was warmly greeted in an Open House. This gave LBCC a chance to show the friends and family of LBCF what their prayers and support were going toward.

16 DECEMBER 2007... The first Sunday Morning Worship service was a hit! There were 36 people attending, including a few guests.

20 NOVEMBER 2007... It is official, the carpet will be installed next week, and from there we simply have to set up and we will be ready for our first worship service. There will still be some loose ends to tie up, but the main part of our work will be finished!

11 NOVEMBER 2007... The signs are all up, the stage is almost built, and the paint is basically finished! There is still some work to do, and the carpet is not in yet, but soon it will be ready to go!
