Dr. Randy Wood has been Senior
Pastor of Liberty
Baptist Church of Fayette County since
April of 2004. More recently he also serves as the startup pastor
for Liberty Baptist Church of Coweta County.
Prior to this he served on the staff of the North American Mission
Board as Director of Personnel Deployment and Director of Missionary
Personnel. In these roles he led in the assessment of missionary
candidates and employment process for the North American Mission
Board, SBC.
Randy also
served as an Associational Missionary for the Maumee Valley Northwest
Ohio Baptist Associations in Toledo, Ohio. Prior to this, Randy
served three churches in Ohio as senior pastor. These churches are
Friendship Baptist Church of Coalton, Central Baptist Church of
Williamsburg, and First Baptist Church of Logan.
Pastor Randy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio University,
a Master of Divinity Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary.
Randy will be serving as pastor of both Liberty Baptist Church of
Fayette County and Liberty Baptist Church of Coweta County through
its initial startup and growth phase.
Randy and his wife, Beverly, have three sons, Joshua, Titus, and
Andrew.
